Development briefing: Kent & Medway

On Friday 11th October 2019 Design South East hosted a half-day showcase event of new and exciting developments across the County. With visually engaging presentations from both public and private sector, our guest speakers delivered updates on major developments, some of which were previously shown at our Opportunity area briefing events in 2017/18.

We continued to explore the revival of Kent’s towns, their sustainability, and how this regeneration has contributed to our growing economy, identity and quality of place. This session also provided an overview of new settlements, urban extensions, new transport links and infrastructure by some of the key people who are designing and developing in Kent & Medway.
