Urban Design Foundation Course 2024
The Urban Design Course is a 5-part course taking place September – November 2024. It comprises 3 online webinars, a study tour and culminates in an in-person, full-day urban design skills training.
The course aims to give attendees a good understanding of:
- What is urban design and why it’s important.
- Design in the planning system.
- Best practice approaches to masterplanning and town centre development.
- Practical urban design skills to use in your day job.
The course is suitable for planners, elected Members, architects, developers and anyone interested in placemaking. You can sign up for the entire course or just attend individual sessions.
